Dr. Abhinav Sinha
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Abhinav Sinha, is the former Director of the Children’s Dental Health Center and Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) pediatric dental medicine residency program, where he teaches residents the latest advancements in practice management, ethics, and laser surgery.
Dr. Sinha has clinical expertise in all phases of Pediatric Dental Medicine, including treatment of children with special healthcare needs and complex oral rehabilitation under general anesthesia. He practices the full scope of his specialty and also has a unique interest in laser revision of tongue and lip ties, to aid infants in proper nursing/breastfeeding, as well as helping children achieve optimal dental, speech, and airway health.
Dr. Sinha lives with his wife and 3 children in New Jersey. When he is not busy fighting dental decay, using his magical laser to help children thrive, or teaching future pediatric dentists, he can be found happily trying out new restaurants, doing kettlebell workouts, or just hanging out with his family.
Dr. Alexandra “Alex” Ziarko
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Alexandra “Alex” Ziarko completed her undergraduate education at NYU with a major in Psychology. She went on to pursue her DDS at New York University’s College of Dentistry. After graduation from Dental School, Dr. Alex went on to complete a General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian – Queens, a Level 1 Trauma center. Her exposure to treating pediatric patients at her GPR inspired her to devote her career to treating children and adolescents. Dr. Alex went on to complete her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the prestigious Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where she gained extensive training in treating a diverse patient population. In her final year of residency, she was nominated as Chief Resident by her faculty and peers.
Dr. Alex was born and raised in northern NJ before moving to New York City in 2011. She currently resides on the Upper East Side with her husband and Toy Poodle Tina. She enjoys traveling with her family, playing tennis, and going to Knicks games! Dr. Alex is fluent in Polish and is working on her proficiency in Spanish.
